The invention relates to a device for coupling an assembly tool, such as a gripper or the like, to the end of a robot arm, with a turret-head support which has an insertion opening for the robot arm end and an axis of rotation of the turret head which lies at an acute angle to the insertion opening and is coupled to an adjusting motor, and with a turret-head locking device, such that in each case one of a plurality of assembly tool receptacles lies in a coaxial position to the insertion opening axis; it proposes in particular, for increased reliability in use, that the turret head (3) is guided on the robot arm (1) so as to be longitudinally displaceable in the direction of the insertion opening axis (x-x), forming a clearance (F). <IMAGE>
