A workpiece-carrier device consisting of stackable carrier plates (10) is proposed, these carrier plates having end regions (12) which are angled perpendicularly to their plate surface (10) and onto which feet (13) are formed. Correspondingly arranged recesses (15) on the angled edges (14) serve for receiving the feet (13) of the particular carrier plate (10) forming the next level. In this way, a stackable carrier plate to be positioned exactly can be produced simply and cheaply, that is to say, in the case of production from sheet metal, by means of a stamping and a bending operation. <IMAGE>
