PURPOSE:To eliminate the backlash of a small-sized reduction gear having the high reduction gear ratio of about 1/20-50 by installing a plurality of planetary gear mechanisms in a housing and shifting the part between the shafts of the planetary gears. CONSTITUTION:A pinon shaft 21 for revolving an input shaft 2 integrally revolves and two planetary gears 6A rotate, revolving between the pinion 21 and an internal gear 5A. The revolution generates the deceleration revolution of a relaying shaft 3 through a shaft 31. A pinion 37 integrally revolves through the revolution of the relaying shaft 3, and two planetary gears 6B rotate, revolv ing between the pinion 37 and an internal gear 5B, and generates the decelera tion revolution of an output shaft 4 through a shaft 41. The revolution of the input shaft 2 is deceleration-transmitted to the relaying shaft 3 and an output shaft 4, and high speed deceleration is permitted. The shaft 31 of the planetary gear 6A is shifted in the peripheral direction concentrically with the pinion 21 by the in/out operation of an adjusting screw 36, and the backlash of the gear is eliminated. As for the planetary gear 6B, similar operation is performed, and the backlash of the gear can be eliminated.
