PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC COATED COPPER FOIL

PURPOSE:To produce an anchoring effect and to increase the adhesion of electrolytic copper foil to ceramic paint by depositing fine particles of copper oxide on the rough side of the copper foil and applying the ceramic paint to the resulting finely uneven surface. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles 2 of copper and/or copper oxide are electrodeposited on the rough side of electrolytic copper foil 1. Ceramic paint 3 is applied to the resulting finely uneven surface, dried and solidified. Thus, a significant anchoring effect is produced and the adhesion of the copper foil 1 to the ceramic paint 3 is increased.
