PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of pretreatment and to prevent temp. drop of molten iron by injecting pretreating agent to molten iron flow from plural injection nozzles arranged from the uptream side to downstream, side after heating at high temp. CONSTITUTION:After separating the molten iron 5, which is tapped from molten iron tapping hole 2 in a blast furnace 1, from slag by a skimmer, 3, it is flowed down to the molten iron branching trough 4. Plural pieces of the injection burner lances 6 are arranged from upstream side to downstream side of this molten iron flow 5 and positioned at the upper part of the molten iron flow 5. Dephos phorizing agent 8 is supplied as dividing into these lances together with carrier gas 12 or desiliconizing agent and desulfurizing agent are supplied at each lance, and also fuel 11 and oxygen 10 for aiding combustion are supplied through a control device 9, and the above pretreating agent 8, etc., is heated at about 1,000-1,500 deg.C, to inject against the molten iron flow 5. In this way, reaction velocity is remarkably improved and the molten iron 5 is effectively pretreated and also the temp. drop of the molten iron 5 is prevented.
