PURPOSE:To stably maintain the micro floating of a magnetic head, by providing two linear grooves on the circular bottom plane of a slider part, deciding one end of the groove by a circumferential part of 60 deg. sandwiched with radius lines and positioning the other end at the position of the circumferential part of 80 deg. neighboring to the above part, and providing the magnetic head on a symmetric diameter for the two grooves. CONSTITUTION:The two linear grooves 13 and 14 are provided on the rear plane 12 of a disk shaped slider member 11. The one ends 13a and 14a of those grooves are positioned at the circumferential part P1, and the other ends 13b and 14b are positioned in the neighborhood of an intersection of the radii R2 and R3 with 90 deg. for the radius R1 crossing the P1 and a circumference. Also, a notched part 15 is provided at the intersection of the diameter crossing the P1 and the circumference, and the magnetic head 16 is fixed on the part, and the magnetic head confronting with the above head is constituted so as to be moved relatively in a direction of arrow head X. By constituting a device in such a way, since an air flow is generated in the grooves 13 and 14, and also, dynamic pressure applied along the circumferential part is diffused and uniformized, the micro floating of the magnetic head can be stabilized.
