PURPOSE:To enable the uniform heating, without generating difference in progress of developing and transferring by enlarging a gap in a center part of heating guide plates provided between thermal rollers than that in the outlet side of said plates. CONSTITUTION:The titled material 16 and an image receiving paper 32 which are overlapped with each other and carried, are passed the gap between a 1st thermal rollers 50, the gap between the thermal guide plates 56, the gap between a 2nd thermal rollers 52, the gap between the thermal guide plates 58 and the gap between a 3rd thermal rollers 54 in this order in the titled device 28. Thus, an image exposed on the titled material 16 is thermally developed, followed by transferring the image to the image receiving paper 32. The gap interposing carrying passages of the titled material 16 in the center part of heating the image recording range 80 of the thermal guide plates 56 and 58, is enlarged than that in the surroundings of said range 80, thereby preventing the thermal guide plates 56 and 58 from contact with said range 80. Thus, an uneven heating in the projecting part and the recessed part of a wrinkle of the titled material is reduced, thereby preventing the generation of the unevenness of the image.
