PURPOSE:To provide a titled press which can form a powder molding having a uniform density by the constitution wherein a master die is lowered at the speed lower than for a top punch via a decelerating lever by a top ram driving device and the powder in the master die is simultaneously compressed from above and below. CONSTITUTION:A powder molding press is constituted of a press body 1 provided with a bottom ram 4 in the lower part of a frame body 3 and a driving device 4a thereof, and a top ram 5 and a driving device 6 thereof in the upper part, and an attachable and detachable die set consisting of a die plate 9, a master die 10, a bottom punch 11 and a top punch 12, etc. The ram 5 in such powder molding press is lowered together with the punch 12 to turn the 1st and 2nd decelerating levers 22, 24 via a lever turning rod and to lower a rollers 29, thereby lowering the die plate 9 and the die 10 via the ram 4 at the speed lower than for the punch 12. The powder P in the die 10 is thus simultaneously compressed and molded by the punches 11, 12 from top and bottom directions without making the exchanging work of the die set intricate. |
