发明名称 THERMOPLASTIC RESIN FOR OPTICAL LENS
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin having heat resistance, fluidity and processing properties at high temperature and excellent transparency, by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing methyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid and a specific acrylic acid alkyl ester in a significant blending ratio. CONSTITUTION:A monomer mixture containing (A) methyl methacrylate, (B) methacrylic acid and (C) an acrylic acid alkyl ester (e.g. methyl acrylate, etc.) containing 1-8C alkyl group in a significant blending ratio is polymerized to give the aimed resin. Preferably the monomer mixture consists of 6-96wt.% component A, 3-24wt.% component B and 1-10wt.% component C and the difference in amount between the component B and the component C is <=18wt.%. The aimed resin is most suitable as lens of spectacles or a material for optical lenses.
