PURPOSE:To improve the equipment operation factor and productivity by providing the common die data base in advance and deciding the necessity for changing a die based on the collating of the signal displaying the kind of the die of the current and following processing works as well. CONSTITUTION:The die commonly usable for plural kinds of works is prepared in advance corresponding to 1st, 2nd press machines 4, 5, the common die data base is formed and stored in the memory of a control part 3. After executing the die deciding program of the control part 3 by operating an operation part 2, the work number of the following working is inputted and stored in the memory of the control part 3 to compare the work number thereof with the common die data base. The control part 3 thus decides the necessity for changing the die for the work in the following working quickly and transmits a signal to the press machines 4, 5 to prepare for the die change or not. Due to the shortening in the stoppage time of the equipment the operation factor and productivity are improved.
