<p>A polyamide moulding composition with reinforcing mineral fibres contains also red phosphorus and magnesium hydroxide for flame retardancy with good electrical tracking resistance. The amounts of red phosphorus and magnesium hydroxide may be 4 to 15 per cent by weight and 5 to 40 per cent by weight of the composition respectively, the total of both is not more than 50 per cent by weight of the composition and their amounts are such that 3P + M >/= 20 where P is per cent by weight of red phosphorus and M is per cent by weight of magnesium hydroxide.</p> |
