PURPOSE:To improve the power efficiency of a multichannel inverter by switching the polarities of the output of a switching power source in response to the polarity of an AC input signal. CONSTITUTION:A flyback switching power source circuit outputs energy input from a primary power source 1 to a transformer 3 during an OFF period through smoothing capacitors 5, 10 to loads 6, 11 during an ON period of a primary switch 2a. Output circuits 16, 17 are independent from one another, and different signals are output to the loads 6, 11. Thus, switches 7a-8a and 12-13 for driving the circuits 16, 17 in a time division manner are provided to conduct only during a predetermined flowing period. Thus, an AC power amplifier having the feature of the power efficiency of the switching power source is obtained.
