STRUCTURE OF DASH PANEL FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To obtain a dash panel having the superior soundproof performance by addition-installing an elastic layer made of urethane foam chip fixed material and a complex lamination body onto a chassis panel. CONSTITUTION:An engine room 1 and a driver's room 2 which are formed in the front part of a car body are partitioned by a dash panel 3. The dash panel 3 has the sandwich structure structure which is formed by interposing an elastic layer 6 made of sound-absorbing material between a chassis panel 4 and a restraining layer 5 as sound shielding material. The elastic layer 5 is constituted of a urethane foam chip fixed material which is prepared by mixing a binder into the fine chips of soft urethane foam and compression- solidifying said mixture, and the restraining layer 5 is constituted of a complex lamination body.
