PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of the engine case in the caption by inserting a bolt from the internal wall of the scavenging passage of one case for constituting a scavenging path into the other case side, and joining both cases tightly, in case of the engine case built up with an upper-case and a lower-case bolted together. CONSTITUTION:In a V-type two cycle engine E, an engine case 24 is composed of an upper-case 25 and a lower-case 26, and a crankcase 30 and a transmission chamber 31 are formed between both cases 25, 26. Two cylinderblock 33a, 33b are formed on the frontside of a crankcase 30 in the engine case 24 at both upper and lower positions, and an exhaust passage and a scavenging passage are formed in respective cylinder blocks 33a, 33b. And the upper-case 25 and the lower-cast 26 are bound together by means of bolts 70, 71, but the bolt 71 of them is provided so as to be screwed in a bolt hole 26a2 which is formed toward the upper-case 25 from the inner wall of the scavenging path 38a in the lower-case 26, and in the bolt hole 25a2 formed in the upper-case 25. |
