PURPOSE:To enable a wheel rim to be used even for a normal tire, by dividing a toe engaging groove by a plurality of bridge members, which form a short length in the circumferential direction traversing the groove, further forming a link surface by a surface of the bridge member, in the case of a TD type tire wheel. CONSTITUTION:A tow engaging groove 3, providing three or more bridge members 4, is divided in the circumferential direction. This bridge member 4 is formed in a short length in the circumferential direction being set to, for instance, 3mm, and the bridge member 4 forms its upper surface 5 to be smoothly tapered. Further the upper surface 5 is positioned so as to form a straight continuing part of a bead seat. In this way, a part, providing the bridge member 4, generates a function appearing similar to an ordinary wheel rim. In this constitution, a TD type tire is used being required only for fitting a toe to a grooved part except the bridge member, and an ordinary tire can hold a bead by forming a link surface by a surface of the bridge member.
