PURPOSE:To facilitate aseptic packaging of a solid food, by using a bag having an aseptic filter part near an opening of the bag, putting a food into the bag and sterilizing with steam after sealing the opening, thereby enabling quick intrusion of sterilization steam into the bag. CONSTITUTION:An aseptic filter 3 (e.g. polyolefin paper) is attached e.g. by welding to the top of a side of an opening 2 of a packaging bag 1 made of a packaging material for retort food (e.g. polyethylene, polyvinylidene chloride, etc.). A food to be subjected to aseptic packaging (e.g. vegetables, meat, noodles, rice cake, etc.) is put into the bag, set to a zone below the aseptic filter 3 and under the line (a) and thermally sterilized in an autoclave after sealing the opening 2 to obtain the objective packaged food. If necessary, the bag may be sealed at the line (a) below the aseptic filter 3 to prevent the oxidation of the content.
