发明名称 TWIST ANGLE DETECTING DEVICE USING OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To directly measure the twist angle of a long-sized body such as a ship body by providing a light receiving part with a function which detects the deviation of a sweep surface or deflecting surface and calculating the twist angle from the deviation. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light emitting element 5 which is converged by a lens 4 is swept by a prism 3 and inputted to two optical fiber cables 1 and 2 arranged at an interval (l). The light inputted to the optical fiber cables 1 and 2 reaches the light receiving part LR, but if there is a twist between members which hold the end surfaces of the optical fiber cables on the side of a light emission side LS and the side of a light reception side, two bright lines 11 and 12 which have an interval (d) are projected on the side of the light reception part LR. Those bright lines 11 and 12 are projected on a transmission type screen 9 and enlarged by a photographic machine 10, and the interval (d) between the bright lines 11 and 12 is measured to measure directly the twist angle of a body to be measured which holds the fiber cables.
