1. Openable finger ring which can be placed on the wearing phalanx without being slipped over the articulation of the finger and which comprises an arch-shaped upper part (1) provided with an ornementation (1a) and a lower part or ring body (2), mounted for pivoting one with respect to the other by one of their ends, the other end being equipped with means for closing (4/5) and for locking (11) said parts, characterized in that the inner profile of the ring body (2) which encircles the underpart of the phalanx is polygonal and comprises two substantially parallel rectilinear lateral edges (2b/2c), extended by at least two inclined edges (2d/2e) converging toward a theoretical point situated inside the plane of symmetry of the ring, said edges (2d/2e) further comprising a stabilizing projection (2g/2h) extending through their length and designed to exert a slight pressure on the wearing phalanx in order to prevent the ring from turning over under the weight of said ornementation (1a) and thus to fix the ring in position on the finger.
|
