PURPOSE:To produce an antibody exhibiting extremely high specificity to a measuring object peptide antigen by the absorption operation of the specific antibody by the specific part peptide chain of a measuring target hormone. CONSTITUTION:First, a peptide type antigen is inoculated in an animal, by which the antibody for the peptide type antigen is formed in the body fluid of said animal. Said body may be any animal other than man. The body fluid contg. the formed antibody is drawn and this is put in contact with the peptide essential for formation of the specific antibody of the peptide type antigen which is insolubilized on a carrier. To this end, said body fluid is subjected to, for example, salting out and settling, and directly or after immune globulin G(IgG) fraction is fractionated by a column chromatography, it is put in contact with the insolubilized peptide. Thence, the specifically absorbed antibody is eluted by using, for example, a buffer of low pH or high pH and a buffer contg. salt of high concn. |
