PURPOSE:To prevent the position relation between a power cylinder and a steering arm from being changed in tread adjustment by installing a power cylinder onto a movable axle side where the shift in the transverse direction is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A front axle 1 is constituted of a front axle body 3 at the center and the right and left movable axles 4 in pairs which are internally fitted in shiftable ways in the direction of axis center on the right and left sides. The movable axle 4 is fixed by bolts 5 so as to be shift-adjusted in plural stages in the transverse direction onto the front axle body 3. Front wheels 7 as steering wheel are supported in free steering around a king pin 6 at the outer side edge part of the movable axle 4, and the front wheel 7 can be steered around the king pin 6 by a steering arm 8. When tread adjustment is performed, the fastening between the movable axle 4 and the front axle body 3 by bolts 5 is released, and after the shift in the transverse direction is adjusted, bolt fastening is performed again.
