A color image-forming process is described, for a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, which process comprises incorporating in the photographic material a yellow dye represented by formula (I) and processing the photographic material using a bleach-fixing solution containing a ferric complex of aminopolycarboxylic acid and a thiosulfate <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 and R2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, a substituted amino group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a nitro group or an alkoxycarbonyl group; R3 and R4 each represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted alkenyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, an acyl group or a sulfonyl group, or R3 and R4 may be taken together to form a 5- or 6-membered ring; X represents a cyano group; and Y represents an acyl group or a sulfonyl group.
