PURPOSE:To stabitize air-diffusion performance and prevent an electrolyte from being leaked from air holes by providing on a positive electrode-case an air-diffusion layer in which the peripheral part of woven fabrics or unwoven fabrics is formed in a film shape. CONSTITUTION:A part in form of a film, of an air-diffusion layer 11 is formed in such a way that unwoven fabrics is cut along with the bore of a positive electrode-case 10, the peripheral edge 11a of the unwoven fabrics is heated and melted, then solidified. The layer 11 is inserted into the case 10 along the inner wall surface and placed on the center of the bottom of the case 10. The peripheral part 11a of the layer 11 can be held easily and more precisely assembled in this way by forming the peripheral part 11a thereof in a film shape. Therefore, when the inner structure of a cell is enclosed, a water repelling membrane 7 can be uniformly pressed toward the bottom of the case 10 so that no gap of attachmented can be generated. Thus, air-diffusion performance is stabilized and an electrolyte is prevented from being leaked from an air holes. |
