PURPOSE:To directly execute a signal transmission between a trunk line and an effector such as a robot, etc., and to make it unnecessary to execute a wiring at every effector by providing a cable for a signal light transmission, which can execute an internal transmission of a signal light, and also, formed by a base material for generating a leakage light of the signal light to the outside in the course of transmission, by allowing it to run along a placed state or a running line of the effector such as a robot, etc. CONSTITUTION:A cable 1 for a signal transmission and plural robots 2 are provided along a belt conveyor being working line. The cable 1 for a signal transmission propagates a signal light L which has been made incident from one end, to the other end side, and also, from each place on the way, the signal light L leaks to the outside. These leakage light beams l also becomes the signal light, and the robot 2 photodetects these leakage light beams l and receives a signal. In such a way, only one piece of cable 1 and only a trunk line are enough, the cost of equipment is reduced, the degree of freedom of a movement of an effector is raised, and the equipment of a plant, its arrangement, etc. can be executed efficiently. |
