PURPOSE:To permit formation of radiation images having high sensitivity and high sharpness by using a screen film photographing system consisting of radiation photographic film which is improved in sharpness and a screen which contains an activation type phosphor. CONSTITUTION:This radiation photographic film has photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers on both sides of a base and the nonphotosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least silver iodide between at least one layer of the emulsion layers and the base. The radiation sensitized screen is the screen contg. the activation type phosphor. This radiation sensitized screen is basically constituted of the base and the phosphor layer provided on at least one face of the base. The radiation photographic film superposed on such radiation sensitized screen so as to contact the phosphor layer thereof is sensitive even to the light emitted by the phosphor in the phosphor layer and, therefore, the sufficient sensitization of the radiation photographic film with a relatively low radiation dose is permitted. |
