PURPOSE:To prepare a composition, uniform and stabilized for a long time, by using 10wt.% or less of one kind or more of sodium polyacrylate, alkali silicate and the like in a dispersant stabilizer for slurry consisting of iron sand, water and carboxymethylcellulose. CONSTITUTION:In a slurry-like composition comprising a dispersant stabilizer consisting of iron sand, water and carboxymethylcellulose, the iron sand dispersant stabilizer slurry-like composition is prepared by using 10wt.% or less of one kind or more of sodium polyacrylate, polyacryl-amide, alkali silicate, alkali phosphate and the like. The composition thus prepared is uniform and stabilized for a long time and of practical fluidity. The viscosity of 1% water solution of calboxymethylcellulose used as a dispersant stabilizer to be used at 25 deg.C is preferably 1,000cps or more. The blend ratio of said composition is preferably in the range of 55-85pt.wt. of iron sand, 45-15pt.wt. of water and 0.05-1.0pt.wt. of dispersant stabilizer.
