PURPOSE:To stably perform atomization by preventing the creeping of a liquid from the leading end of a nozzle, by providing a spot facing hole having a diameter larger than that of a liquid supply port to the tip of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A front horn 7 and a rear horn 8 are screwed with a joint 9 on both sides thereof and grasps vibrators 10, 10' in a compression state to assemble an atomizing apparatus. For example, an exponential type amplifying horn 6 and a nozzle 1 are integrally provided to the front of the front horn 7 and a spot facing hole 3 is provided to the tip of the nozzle 1 by drilling and, since the bottom part of said hole 3 becomes a liquid atomizing surface 4, the diameter of the spot facing hole 3 is made larger than that of the liquid supply port 5 piercing through the horns 7, 8 in order to increase atomizing efficiency. Further, the inner periphery of the spot facing hole 3 functions as a weir 2 for preventing the creeping of a liquid. Furthermore, when the boundary of the atomizing face 4 and the liquid supply hole 5 is chamfered as shown by a numeral 16, the liquid becomes easy to cover the whole of the atomizing surface and uniformly distributed stable mist is obtained.
