PURPOSE:To secure an exhaust pipe by satisfying the specified equations for the sealing section shape. CONSTITUTION:A glass tube, with phosphor or the like coated on the inner face and dried and peeled off only at the sealing portion, a mount fitted with a lead molded filament and coated with oxide, and an exhaust pipe 5 are fixed at preset positions by a chuck or the like and heated and softened simultaneously from both sides by burners. Then, a molding pincher 1 corresponding to a sealing section shape satisfying the equations is moved back and force from both sides for pinch molding. In the equations, D; outer diameter of exhaust pipe 5, t1; thickness of glass tube 3, l1 ; escape size of pinch exhaust pipe, l2; escape size of lead wire 4, l3; pinching longitudinal size.
