<p>PURPOSE:To regenerate easily an adsorbent by forming a first layer filled with peat fibers and a second layer constituting of a mixture of gas adsorbent and peat fibers over said layer. CONSTITUTION:Odor is guided from a gas guide tube 3 into a deodorizing column 1, and odorous components easy to decompose with microbes such as hydrogen sulfide are decomposed in a first layer 2-1. Odorous component hard to decompose such as methyl mercaptan and the like are adsorbed to a gas adsorbent in a second layer 2-2 filled with the mixture of the gas adsorbent such as active carbon or the like and peat fibers, and after that, gradually decomposed with microbes.
