PURPOSE:To reduce the time of interruption of a faulty channel communication line by using an output signal of each active transmitter so as to detect a channel causing a fault, thereby switching the channel causing abnormity of the channel of a standby system transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A channel discrimination section 5 compares output signals V01-V0n of each active system transmitter 1 with a corresponding reference signal Ss from a reference signal generating section 6 respectively and if an error takes place, a channel switching signal Scc is outputted. In this case, whether or not a standby system transmitter 2 is in the standby state is discriminated by an output signal VA and in case of the standby state, the channel switching signal Scc is set to be switched to the channel causing the error and when the state is already in the transmission state, the priority of the channel causing newly a fault at a channel in the transmission state is compared by using a signal from a priority storage section 7, the channel switching signal Scc is set to be switched to a channel having higher priority. Moreover, a reference signal Ssc supplied to a level control section 4 is outputted while being selected by the channel discrimination section by using the channel switching signal Scc. Thus, the time of transmission interruption of a faulty channel is decreased.
