[Also in Divisions B5 and F2] The threaded portion of spindle 13 is releasably connected to an unthreaded portion 38 by engagement of a grooved pin 34 having a flattened portion 37, of the spindle 13 in a bore 39 of the portion 38. The grooved pin 34 is held by a spring loaded pivotally mounted locked pawl 42 contained in a groove 40 of the unthreaded portion 38. Rotation of the spindle 13 through 180 degrees releases pawl 42 from groove 35 and so permits removal of spindle 13. In a modification (Fig. 8 not shown) the pin 44 is formed without a flattened portion to prevent uncoupling on rotation of the spindle 13. |
