PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a light condensing means such as lens and to provide the higher output and multipler outputs by disposing plural optical fibers radially to a light emitting element and optically coupling the fibers directly to said element in proximity thereto. CONSTITUTION:The optical fibers 1 are radially disposed to the light emitting part of the light emitting element 2 and are coupled in proximity to the light emitting part thereof. For example, plural holes 6 are bored radially toward the center of the light emitting part to a hemispherical hollow container 5 fixed with the light emitting element 2 and fiber sleeves 7 mounted with the optical fibers 1 are inserted into the holes 6 and are fixed after optical axis alignment and adjustment. Not only the higher output and multipler outputs are thereby obtd. but also the constitution is extremely simplified and the labor for the optical axis adjustment is greatly reduced. |
