PURPOSE:To prevent the generations of a suspended matter and a mold due to a bacteria in a washing and a stabilizing baths, even in case of processing continuously the titled material with the remarkably reduced amount of the washing water by processing the titled material with an aqueous solution contg. a calcium, a magnesium and an ammonium compds. in succession to a processing step having fixing ability after color-developing the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is processed with an aqueous solution contg. <=5mg/l the calcium and the magnesium compds. based on the calcium and the magnesium respectively, and contg. the ammonium compd. in succession to the processing step having the fixing ability after color-developing the exposed titled material. Thus, the problem about the generations of the bacteria and the mold in the bath is reduced, even in case of processing said material with the remarkably reduced amount of water in succession to the processing step having the fixing ability after color-developing the exposed titled material. The sticking property of the photosensitive material to the titled material after processing is not reduced. |
