PURPOSE:To simply change a range in which a distance can be detected, and the detection accuracy, by providing a pupil variable member for varying a shape of a pupil in accordance with whether a distance detecting range is large or small, and varying a ratio of a shift quantity of two images. CONSTITUTION:By an iris 1 and a photographic lens 2 in an interchangeable lens, an image 4 of an object is formed temporarily on an optical axis 3, but in the luminous flux which has passed through the photographic lens 2, the upper luminous flux than the optical axis 3 and the lower luminous flux than the optical axis 3 are divided into two by separator lenses 5a, 5b, and the image 4 is formed again as images 7a, 7b on photodetecting sensors 6a, 6b placed in a position being conjugate to the film surface by the separator lens 5a, 5b. When the iris 1 is stopped down, the center-of-gravity position of the luminous flux passing through the photographic lens 2 changes, and a distance of a parallax becomes narrow. Due to a decrease of the parallax, the moving rate of an image by a defocus becomes small, and the detection range of a distance is widened relatively. |
