PURPOSE:To reduce the stress applied to a printing wire and to perform high speed printing by shortening the printing wire, by constituting a printing head so that the straight line connecting the center of rotation of an armature having a printing wire fixed to the leading end thereof and the fixing point of the printing wire is allowed to cross the center line of the printing wire at a right angle. CONSTITUTION:An armature 1 is rotated around a fulcrum 1a in a clockwise direction by the magnetic attraction force generated by a coil 3 and a yoke 2 and a printing surface 11 is struck by the printing wire 4 mounted to the leading end of the armature 1 to perform printing and, thereafter, the printing wire restores 4 to the original position by the force of a return spring 10. Herein, the printing wire 4 is guided by intermediate guides 5, 6 and a leading end guide 7 to reach a predetermined position but the holes 5a, 6a, 7a of the guides are arranged on one straight line. The printing wires are constituted so that the leading ends thereof are positioned on a straight line. The straight line 1l connecting the fulcrum 1a of the armature and a wire mount part 1b crosses the center line 4l of the wire at a right angle. |
