<p>Flat loading pallet with one or two decks is produced by injection moulding foamed plastics with an outer solid plastics layer, and is provided with a multiplicity of cavities in the form of small hexagons, which are placed in a staggered arrangement on the sides of the decks on which the positioning and spacer blocks are placed. The distance between adjoining cavities is about half as large as the distance between the two parallel sides of a cavity. The common fact of the cavities pref. comprises 1/4 - 1/3 of the face of the pallet. The plates forming the transporting and loading decks of the pallet have a greater torsional and flexing rigidity than thinner plates without the cavities, which employ the same amount of plastics material.</p> |
