PURPOSE:To attain automatic connection even at the time of line wire call by repeating redialing to a line wire opposite party after a prescribed time by a redialing means if a calling line wire opposite party is busy, and calling an extension telephone set when the connection of the line to the line wire opposite party is detected. CONSTITUTION:When a line wire request signal is received from an extension control section 5, a line wire 4 and an extension telephone set are connected, a dial signal is sent and a dial number data corresponding to dial signal sent to a RAM is stored. If a line wire opposite party is busy, a 1-minute timer is started, and when the timer time is over, the dial signal of a dial number data stored in the RAM is sent to the line wire 4. Thus, until the busy state of the line wire destination is finished, redialing is applied for each 1-minute. When the busy state of the line wire destination is finished, the line is connected to the destination and a ring-back tone is detected, the extension telephone set called for the line wire is called by the extension control section 5 based on the extension number stored in the RAM.
