The attachment has a flexible drive shaft (31) clamped to the rotary shaft of the drill or polisher (17) at one end and supporting an auxiliary hand tool (35) at its opposite end. The weight of the drill or polisher (17) is supported by a holder (10) attached to a shoulder strap (15) or belt worn by the operator, so that the hands remain free of guiding the tool (35). Pref. the support (10) comprises a plate (11) with spaced fixing points for the strap (15) or belt and a clamp (19) fitted over the spindle neck of the drill (17) or polisher. ADVANTAGE - Operator only supports weight of auxiliary hand tool.
