<p>PURPOSE:To attain the indication of a tracking indicating meter corresponding to the deviation of a tracking by sampling and holding the DC component of a video signal based on a control pulse signal and driving the tracking indicating meter in proportion to the peak value of the sampled by held signal. CONSTITUTION:The control pulse signal (PG pulse) inputted in a switching circuit 9, where the video signals outputted from plural rotary magnetic heads 7a and 7b are made to be one series of video signals, is differentiated in a differentiation circuit 14 and based on the output signal from the differentiation circuit 14 the video signals detected in a detection circuit 10 are sampled and held for a certain time in a sample/hold circuit 1, so that the tracking indicating meter 13 of a peak value proportional type can be driven with the output signal from the sample/hold circuit 11. Therefore, the tracking indicating meter 13 can execute the indication corresponding to the signal level of the video signal at the time of sampling. Thus, the difference of the deviation of tracking at the time of sampling can be discriminated by the difference of the indication of the tracking indicating meter 13.</p> |
