PURPOSE:To surely discriminate an automobile, by searching the automobile with a searching means such as a photoelectric sensor, etc., storing a picked-up image fetched from a camera as a bit of picture information in a control means, applying an image processing on it, and print-displaying a registration number on a rear number plate. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup signal from the camera 1, a signal from an ultrasonic wave sensor 2, and the signal from a photodetector 4 are sent to a controller 6, and the controller 6 fetches and stores the image pickup signal as the bit of picture information based on input signals from both sensors. To the controller 6, a print display device 8 is connected separately from a monitoring television 7. By turning ON the display instruction key of the print display device 8, the bit of picture information stored and held in the controller 6 and a time are fetched and inputted, and also, the image processing is applied on them, then, the information is printed out. The rear number plate 5a is attached on a printed image, and all of the advancing vehicles are discriminated from each other from the registration numbers displayed on the rear number plates 5a, and also an entrance time is recognized.
