PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent low-temperature impact resistance, by blending a polycarbonate resin with a rubber-modified styrene/ maleic anhydride copolymer and a ring-opening polymer of oxazoline. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. in total of 90-40pts.wt. polycarbonate resin [e.g., a resin obtd. by reacting bis(4- hydroxyphenyl)methane with phosgene] and 10-60pts.wt. rubber-modified styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer resin with 0.1-10pts.wt. ring-opening polymer of an oxazoline, which is a linear polymer having an MW of 50,000-1,000,000 of the formula (wherein R is H, an alkyl or an aryl). The compsn. has good flow characteristics during molding and can be easily molded. Molded products obtd. from the compsn. has high heat resistance, tensile yield strength and tensile modulus as well as very high low-temperature impact resistance.
