A horizontal U-shaped profile section (20) which is open at the bottom is arranged in a vertically displaceable fashion above the upper edge of at least one door leaf (4). This embodiment makes it possible to lock the door properly. One lock (B) is sufficient for both leaves (4) of a door with two leaves (4). The door leaves (4) are rotatably mounted by means of two door hinges. A pivot lever (28) moves the door hinges in an arc-like manner, a rotating arm (31) ensuring the position of the plane of the door leaves (4). An overload coupling is advantageously used, so that the door can be opened by means of a slight pressure from inside even when there is a power failure. The lock (B) provides sufficient protection against breaking in, on the other hand.
