<p>Pinch-shuttles operate between single boxes at each side, receiving only one shuttle and aligned in permutation for crossover projection of the shuttles. Guides rigidly fixed to the beater lead weft threads into channels, open above, running through the shuttles in the weft direction. Levers, which can fall by their own weight and which react to the permutation of shuttle-box position, are mounted against the beater to influence the feed of weft, and can be returned to initial position by the shuttle boxes. Weft threads passing between the bobbins and the selvedges at the insertion sides can be held by the guides.</p> |
