PURPOSE:To execute unitary management of an extended address by providing a register for storing an extended part of virtual address in a main processor, and a mode flag for switching a single virtual storage mode and a multiple virtual storage mode. CONSTITUTION:A VS mode flag 12 is added to a computer which is considering an extension of a single virtual storage, in order to provide a multiple virtual storage function. When the VS mode flag 12 is ''0'', a single virtual storage mode is shown, and when it is ''1'', a multiple virtual storage mode is shown. The VS mode flage 12 is related to control of a multiplexer, too, and when it is ''1'', the extended address part selects an extended address register 3 even when a subprocessor indexes a TLB8. |
