PURPOSE:To offer an inexpensive component with high performance and high quality by constituting a lower case fitted with a piezoelectric element by a ceramic whose linear expansion coefficient is equal to or near that of the piezoelectric element and constituting the upper case by a resin member. CONSTITUTION:A base unit 1 as a lower case is made of a ceramic. An energy confinement type element of 2-terminal structure forming exciting electrodes 4b, 4c at both upper/lower faces of the piezoelectric substrate 4a made of a ceramic is used for a piezoelectric element 4. Ends of the electrodes 4b, 4c are connected to the electrode 2a formed on the base unit 1 by solder (h) or the like. In such a case, the ceramic base unit whose linear expansion coefficient is equal to or near that of the substance constituting the substrate 4a is used. The upper case 6 is made of a resin member. Thus, the possibility of the piezoelectric element exfoliated from the lower case is precluded and the piezoelectric component with the excellent temperature characteristic is obtained.
