A cassette-loading cine projector comprises a projection push button 14, and a rewind push button 15, latching means 14a, 12b to retain either button to the depressed, operative, position, a stop button 16 operable to engage the latching means at 12c to release any latched button, a bell crank 6 operable by signal rod 8 in the cassette movable in response to the amount of film on the rewind reel to release any latched button when all film is transferred to the take-up reel.
