PURPOSE:To facilitate fine adjustment of a resonance frequency and to improve the rotation performance of a rotor by providing a nonconductor part to an end face conductor part of a 1/4lambda coaxial resonator and pressing the rotor made of a metal into contact with the end face conductor part. CONSTITUTION:A resonator main body 1 is formed to one end face of the outer circumferential and inner circumferential face of the cylindrical dielectric 3 having an axial through hole 2 at the middle part by providing an outer circumferential conductor 4, an inner circumferential conductor 5 and an end face conductor part 6 connected mutually, and an inner circumferential electrode 7 is provided to an open end face of the main body 1. A metallic shaft 9 has a caulking part 11 caulked to the rotor 10 and a spring terminal 8, fitted to the main body 1 via the through hole 2 and the rotor 10 is pressed into contact with the end face conductor 6. A circular arc nonconductor 6a is provided to the conductor part 6. Through the constitution above, in driving the shaft 9, the rotor 10 is driven and the nonconductor part 6a is short-circuited by the rotor 10. The resonance frequency is changed in proportion to the short- circuited part.
