Length variable drawbar for trailer

The telescopic section of the drawbar has the inner section (2) with conical holes (10,11) corresponding to the two lengths. A laterally mounted bolt (7) with a conical end slides through holes in the outer sleeve and secures the inner bar in one of the two positsion. The bolt is spring loaded into the locking position and is released by a servo drive (14). The servo operates a simple linkage to (17,18) to pull back the bolt. To lengthen the drawbar the driver operates the servo and moves the towing unit forwards until the bolt drops into place.
