PURPOSE:To reduce the titled system as the whole system of a storage area for segment data by integrating together the segment data of the whole graphic processing system, to one segment data storage area. CONSTITUTION:When a graphic processing program 1 requests a graphic operation to a graphic command generating means 2, the means 2 sends a display instruction and a store instruction for a segment, to graphic output device control means 31-33. A segment managing means 5 stores only a graphic data registered in the head, in a segment data storage area 6, from a graphic output table for outputting a graphic, and disregards other graphic data which has been sent. In such a way, the graphic data is stored in the storage area 6 without being duplicated. When the read-out request of a segment data is received from either of the means 31-33, the means 5 reads out the graphic data by referring to a graphic output stage table 7 and a segment state table 8, and returns it to the means 31-33.
