<p>PURPOSE:To produce molten iron having excellent quality at a little coke ratio and low cost, by keeping high reducing atmosphere inside of furnace at the time of producing molten iron from steel scrap as raw material by a cylindrical furnace providing tuyeres for blasting and an auxiliary fuel combustion room and heating the raw material by using the auxiliary fuel. CONSTITUTION:The steel scrap 10 of iron raw material, coke 11 for blast furnace and slag making agent 12 of lime stone, silica, etc., are charged from upper raw material charging hole 1 of the cylindrical furnace, and air 13 and oxygen 14 are blown from the tuyere 4 and also the auxiliary fuel 17 of heavy oil, fine powdered coal, etc., is burnt in the auxiliary fuel combustion room 5 by the air 18, and the charged raw material is heated and melted by generated high temp. gas and the molten iron 15 is produced by carbonizing and siliconizing the steel scrap. In this case, by making CO2/(CO2+CO) and H2O/(H2O+H2) in the generated gas by combustion of the coke to both zero as the bosh gas in the blast furnace and making the temp. of combustion gas to >=2,000 deg.C, the molten iron having good quality is produced under good fuel efficiency.</p> |
