Each tyre enters the recovery stage . Grinding tools remove the rayon and steel. Steel cord is removed from the rubber by the magnets. The rubber is then broken up using a range of tools such as mill rollers, knives and brushes. The broken-up rubber is collected using a conveyor and/or air streams to collect the rubber and sort it. Fumes are removed via the outlet. |
